I just skyped with two old friends of mine from Germany, and they were in a really funny mood. They were just talking a lot of stuff and laughing... I couldn't follow them. Then one of them made a comment about that I haven't updated anything since a long long time. So here it is, exclusively for the boys a picture from the snow in holland :)

Time Changes...

Hey folks,

Long time ago... I am not good at all with posting... But yeah here it comes..

Well, time changes all the time. A lot of stuff happened the last few month. First of all I can call my self officially a photographer, and that's what I'm proud of.

My sister is still in Australia, so that's a thing which hasn't changed since February 2010. But I can say I really miss her!

I moved to Utrecht, back with my dad. So it's weird to move back in with my dad, his new girlfriend and her two sons. I lived on my own for about 4 years. But maybe it's good to start everything new. Start a new life. I can focus on my career.

I really missed the photography, I recognized it after I felt satisfied photographing a dead rat. Haven't done much photographing the last few month. So that's a shame I know.

I think I am not the only one at the moment struggling with life, so many people out there who don't know what they have to do with their future. Well I have a tip for you guys, just try everything. If you want to travel, TRAVEL, if you want to work at a zoo, WORK AT A ZOO, if you want to become a great musician, TRY IT! If you are young it's so easy to live your life however you want to. Take the chance if there is one! And otherwise create it by your self! You will get there. I am really wondering how my future is going to look like...

Countdown!

Hi Everybody,

just 5 days left and I'm leaving back to Holland after a great 4,5 month internship in Oslo. On one side it's really sad that I'm going back, because I finally found my way here in Oslo and found new friends and it's summer. But on the other side it's so good to be back in the Netherlands, see my dear friends and family again. AND watching the world cup of football in my homecountry ;)

But first I have to tell you some stuff.

I've been to France, cote d' azur with work. And it was great. We had a lot of fun, but also a lot of work and long days. But I wouldn't miss it. This trip was a whole new experience for me. Away from Norway and the studio, but in a warm country and lot's of rose, hehe.
We went to Monaco and Cannes and where located in Theoule-sur-Mer. This was also the place where we had the shoot. An awesome house.

Last Saturday I also had my first fashion shoot here in Norway. I should have done this much early. I regret that I didn't do this earlier. But at least I did it once. I shot at Pål's studio and was allowed to use al his gear. I also shot with clothes from an amazing Designer. But about this later, when I'm done with my pictures. :)

I also got my first fine.... :( And not a small one, NO a BIG one. For 700,- NOK. That's about 90,- Euro's. So I really didn't like it at all. The whole thing was because I didn't buy a ticket for the car. I wanted to, but when I was at the parkingmeter, it wouldn't take my bankcard. So I called my friend and asked her if she could bring money. She did, but when she arrived we forgot it. :(
When we wanted to leave I saw a small Q-parking car and I asked her is that a 'fine-man'? Yes... So we ran as fast as possible back to the car and when we came there we had already a fine from two hours ago... oh, oh, oh... 90,- Euro's gone for just the stupid parking... :(

Super Weekend with my Muriel!!!

Hey folks,

And it took again a few weeks since I wrote something. I know in the beginning I was very good at writing everyday. But after few days writing it starts to get boring if you don't do anything except working.

But this changed. WOHEOEHO!!! I have a room in Oslo. But I told you that already I think. And Muriel visited me last weekend. It was great. She arrived on Saturday and went home on Tuesday. We had a great time. I wanted to show her something of Oslo. But as you know me, we just wanted to party and at the end we were to tired to go and do some sightseeing. Haha. So on Saturday we went to "Fugazi" a club near nationaltheatre in Oslo and met there some people I met one week ago at the workshop at my internship. And we partyied al night of course.


Next day slept long and while we were waiting for the bus to have some sightseeing, work called, that I have to come to the studio and pack the photographygear for our trip to the Cote d' azur. YES, TO THE COTE D' AZUR. We left on tuesday. But that's another story for another time :).
And at the end it took to long so we went home had some "delicious, nice and wonderfull looking" dinner en after that we checked a movie out and went then into town. First we wanted to go to "Bla", but Muriel had no paspoort with her so we were not allowed to go in. So we thought "whatever", let's go to another bar/club. And at the end we arrived at a bar called "Nomaden". It was so great and funny. We danced al night and talked to people we don't even remember anymore haha. Yes, that's life, we had fun and I really enjoyed it that Muriel was with me.





Monday was 17th of may... Oh oh oh, we were so tired and had a big hangover. 17th of may is the "birthday of norway", so a national day. We thought that it's almost the same as in holland "Queensday", with a lot of partying and beerdrinking people. So we took our cheap beers from home and went downtown, when we arrived there, NO PARTY, NO BEER, NO MUSIC!!! Horrible!!! haha. Everything happens in de morning between 8 and 12 am, with a lot of kids. And who were stil asleep??? Muriel and Babs of course. so we missed everything. We went to Aker Brygge and walked up to the Aker hus vestning park. We had an amazing few over the water. While we enjoyed the few and tried to forget our hangover we enjoyed our cheap beers on top of the hill. After a while a friend called me and asked if we would come to a bar in downtown. Of course!!! But we were to tired to party and went home after an hour or something.



Next morning got up very early. Muriel stil asleep. I packed my last stuff for the trip to France, got on the bus and went to the airport. And that's the end of the story from Muriel visting me! :) Another time the story about France!!! Hope you enjoyed this!

Sunny Saturday and lots of statues!!!

Hey dear people,

How are you doing?
well I have great news: I have a ROOM IN OSLO!!! woheohe :) I moved in last thursday. And right now I'm chilling in the sun in front of my house. I share the apartment with another girl named Christine. And she is very nice and friendly.
My room is the smalls room I ever had. 7m2 haha. But I don't need more space. I just eat and sleep there. It's 10 min by bus from work. So it's perfect. Now I don't have to travel 3 hours a day from and to Fredrikstad.

Right now it's really sunny and warm. But it's to cold for shorts. huh. But you know there are crazy people who are already walking around with the shortest shorts and slippers. These barbiegirls I call them haha.

Today I was the first time in Oslo to see some stuff. I went to Frognerparken and in this park there is an other park. But I don't remember the name. It's a huge park with a lot of statues. It's actually really nice (see the pictures).
I saw so much chilling/barbequing/skateboarding/parcourjuming(freerun) people. It was crazy. At the end I just talked to a girl and chilled with her and some of her friends. It was ok. But nice to talk to other people :).
But Frognerparken is definitely a place where I will go t more times.

Another great news is, that we are going to St. Tropez with my internship, for a shooting!!! I'm really looking forward to this. But another thing which makes me worried: The volcanic ash is in the air again. And some of the airports in Spain and France are closed again. And I really really really hope that they will be open at least next week. Other wise we are not going to France… :( So let's hope it will work out.

Next saturday my friend Muriel is coming over to visit. So I really hope that the Airports will be open. Otherwise she can't come. And that would be really bad news… So let's hope this will work out too. :)

On 17th of may there is this national day in Norway, it's like Queensday in holland but different. So whole Norway will be upside down that day. And the night before too. And I really hope I can enjoy this together with Muriel :)

At work we have a lot to do, so we are really busy at the moment. But I really enjoy it.

So this is enough for now. :)

BAD NEWS TURNS INTO GOOD NEWS!

Hi volks,

I have bad news to tell. :( My visa was refused so I am not able to start my internship in the US. So that really SUCKS!
BUT... I have a great internship here in Norway, so I can stay longer in Norway and finish my internship over here. Isn't it great?! Thanks to Pal. :)

yeah! New UPDATE!

Hi dear people,
I'm so sorry. But I got a little bit lazy lately about posting on my blog.
So what I did the last few weeks, was not that much. We had some shoots. And I did some stuff for my admission/access for the HKU school. I tried a lot. But I'm still not really sure what I am going to do for that.

Hey everybody,

Yesterday I was at the Arctic Challenge, but it was not that great as I expected... :( It was nice to be there one time. But it was not the day of the Finals, so there were not that many people. When I saw it on Tv today, I saw that there were lots of people. I should gone there today as well. But I had just a ticket for saturday. I wasn't allowed to bring my camera, so I just made a few pictures with the small camera of my cousin.

Today I haven't done that much... Just chilling out and organizing some stuff.
