SNOW GOES ON!

Long time ago, that I wrote something on my blog. I want to apologize for that. But nothing excited happened. I was just working, working AND working.... I’ve been very busy with my internship. I have almost everyday a workday from 11 – 13 hours a day. So it’s pretty hard.

Yesterday, the day started great at work, haha....

Henrik and I wanted to put the dishwasher on but there were no washing tablets anymore. So Henrik said: oh we can use the soap for the handdishwash (I was thinking, no that’s no good idea, but yeah it was early and I was slow, so I let it go). And yes, what I expected a little bit since we started the dishwasher, foam came out of the dishwasher from everywhere. Haha. We were like: “ oh my god, what happened” and after we survived our first shock about it, hehe, we began to laugh and thought about what a stupid idea that was. Hehe. J We just hoped that Pål wouldn’t see us like this. He would probably laugh about us. Hehe. And then we started cleaning... And everything was so clean after the machine was foam less again.

A week ago I made a picture of a car with a lot of snow, don’t know if you remember it. But I made a second picture after a few days snowing and it looked like this:

And it’s still snowing!!! Long time ago that I have seen that much snow as here in Norway.

Today we are going to pack the last things at the studio. And tomorrow we are going to move to the other studio. So I have to work in the weekend. But NO problem for me. I can handle that. Hehe :) I think I can say that I’m a professional in moving. I moved lots of times the last few years.

BUT I HAVE A GOOD THING TO TELL!!! Next weekend is the ARCTIC CHALLENGE (it’s the biggest slope-style-event./competition of the world of snowboarding, they are making huge jumps, have a look at http://www.t-a-c.no/).AND I GOT MY TICKET YESTERDAY from Pål. It’s the whole weekend and the practicing starts at thursay, so maybe I will be there too, depends on how many work we have to do at the studio. But I am deffenetly there at the weekend. And on saturday there is an afterparty from the Arctic challenge too, so I am going there with Henrik and I think probably his girlfriend and maybe another girl. I don’t know right now. But I’m really looking forward to it!

So for now I wrote enough. Hope you enjoyed reading again from me.

NAVIGATORS AND SNOWSTORM!

Hi There,

I'm back again with an update. Yesterday I was at a Concert (it was actually the releaseparty of the band) with Caecilia, Mads and friends of them. It was really nice. The band called the Navigators. If you scroll down you can see something from the. Check it out. And let me know if you like it or not :)

Since three days it it snowing. There is so much snow. Take a lot for yourself. :) I love the snow. But it will not stop.

For now I quit with writing. I'm still on my internship and have to catch my train. And yes, I know it is saturday. But in this business you have to work in the weekend also. :) But it's no problem for me not at all. hehe.

NATURE IS CALLING!

Hey Hey Hey dear people,

I'm sorry that I haven't posted anything yesterday. But the internet was disconnected, again. :( So I couldn't write anything down on my blog.
First of all, I wanted to say that it's so great to read from you. So nice to read your comments, your e-mails and your sms. :) That makes me very happy.

This weekend I haven't done that much. But yesterday we went out to the Isle called Kiorky. It was sooooo beautifull. We walked over the ice. It was great. Of course I took some pictures :)

This was a beautiful place to take some pictures. And the light was really yellow. The light here in norway is so different compared to other countries. It's so beutiful. Every night you see another coloured sky. It's amazing.

Hi Everybody,

how is everybody doing tonight? Probably everybody is out at this time. It's 23:55 h right now. I'm still at home. Have no money to spend haha. But next friday I will going to a concert from the Nagivators. They are friends, of friends of Caecilia.

Before we went out for dinner, eating a pizza, I was outside on my own, to check out the neighbourhood and took some pictures (see below). Right now I have some time to walk around and check everything out.

Meeting a star!

Hi Everyone,

I'm very sorry about that I haven't posted anything yesterday. But at my internship it was very busy and when I got home, internet was disconnected. So that's the reason why I'm writing now.

Yesterday it was a great day. I met a few important people:

Karina Hollekim

Trailer of the documentairy 20 seconds of joy, you should watch it. It's about her live and her bad accident.

Karina was a very open and nice person. Was really nice to meet her. After I met Karina we went to check out the new studio which Pal wants to share with two other photographers. One of them is Cathrine Wessel. She is doing a lot of photography for Nike and Adidas and travels a lot between New York and Norway. She used to live there 3 years ago. She great to. I think it's a great opportunity that I'm getting to know more and more people.

Day off!

Hi Everybody,

how is it going? Today I had a day off from work. So I slept till 12 o'clock. haha. I needed it. After I woke up I chilled a little bit with Caecilia and picked the girls up from school. Then I went with Laura to the Gym and with Mayen to the supermarket. And after that I picked Laura from the gym.
Caecilia and Mads where out tonight, so I had to bring the kids to bed and read them a story before they were going to sleep. They are great kids. :) But I will wait for my own kids for a while ;) hahaha.

Good Good Morning!

Hi Family, Friends and people :)

Today began very early. To early. I had to be at the studio at 11 so I was supposed to take the train at 9.30. But I was to tired yesterday and set the alarm on 7 o'clock and today when I was dressed and had a shower and was eating my breakfast with the kids and Caecilia I realized that I was to early. One hour to early. But the kids were so happy to see me (didn't see them yesterday) that I sad "ok I walk you to the school and then I will take the train to Oslo. But I was right on time, because I had to by a bus ticket in Oslo and I had to wait very long till it was my turn to buy one at the service desk.

Today we just did some photoshop work.

I'm at home late again… That's the only bad thing about the whole internship…
Maybe tomorrow I have a day off or start late… I will hear that tonight.

By the way made some pictures in the train with my mobile phone.

New people, new people.

I'm tired. Sitting on the train back home. It' 21.00 h right now.

I met Pal and his assistant Henrik today. They are both great. I think I'm really lucky with this internship. Henrik is just my age and Pal is I think about 10 years older than me. I think we can get along with each other.

I did not that much today. Just saw the studio and where the equipment is stored and we drove to a friend of Pal to pick up some cameraquipment. While we were driving to his friends place we passed Tryvann (that's the snowpark in Oslo). I couldn't see that much because it was already dark when we were there. So I give it a try next time.

I will upload a few photographs of my cousins house and the studio tomorrow or day after.

First trip to Oslo City!

Today I will meet Pal Laukli, the photographer where I will do my internship with. I'm really excited (pooh, I used this word a thousand times the last few days).

At the moment I'm on the train till (= to in norsk) Oslo. It takes about an hour to get there. But I really enjoy the traveling so far. The nature we pass by train is so beautiful and there is so much snow out there. Everything is white, and sometimes you see a this red houses. The red houses are the farmers houses.

Oh by the way, the train is very luxerous. It's like you travel with an ICE.

Maybe I will make a video blog ;) It's fun to watch I think.

Oh lazy lazy sunday!

Good day everybody,

Yesterday I went partying with my cousin and her friends and it was great. It was not really busy in the bars, but the music and the atmosphere were great.

Today I feel not very well. My belly is hurting. :( I have this once in month. haha. But it's not really funny. I'm really sick then. As today. That's the reason why I couldn't go with my Caecilia, Mads, Mayen and Laura for langlaufen. They wanted to ski over the ice, over de fjords... I'm really sad about that. But maybe next weekend. Hope that I will have the chance to make some great photographs.

For today there is not much to tell.

EXPENSIVE!!!

Sooooo expensive,

I've heared from lots of people, that noway is expensive with everything... :( Today I was Caecilia in town (Fredrikstad) and we were there to shop. I had 1000,- NOK with me thats like (121,- EURO) and I've have just 400,- NOK left. :( I bought a norsk simcard and some ususal groceries. So I paid 600,- NOK (73 EURO). It's **** crazy...

But I'm a student for almost 4 years and every month I survived agains, so why not now too? :P

Hi everybody,

how is it going?


Just woke up after my first night in fredrikstad. I spend my night at home yesterday with my cousin and her two kids. Mads was at his monthly mansnight. So he was at home late.

I have my own big big room in my cousins house. It's great. Laura (the smallest from my cousins children) gave me a drawing already. So sweet. :) By the way, you can see, my room is already a mess.

At the moment there is not so much to tell, just woke up ;).

NORGE!!!

Hi partypeople,

finally arrived in Norway. First of all I arrived at flughvn (that's norsk) Oslo Gardermonde or something like that. Then I cached my train which goes to Oslo Central Station. From there I took the train Oslo - Fredrikstad.

The snow, oh people, there is a lot of snow. LOVE IT!
The people are friendly, they help you if you need help and they keep smiling. :) So keep smiling…. :)
The is a coffemachine at all trains. So you can by for just 15 NOK (norsk kroner), that's around 1,50 Euro's a cup of coffee or tea or hot chocholade. mjammie. :)

All norwegian people are talking norsk to me. But I don't understand anything hahaha. I'm just saying I'm not from here I only speak english and then they laugh and smile and they talk in english to me. haha.

But one negative thing: It's so expensive over here. Like for a beer, you buy at a bar it's like 8 euro's :( So I will drink just a couple of beers for the next two month. :) Very healthy.

So now I stop writing. I'm almost in Fredrikstad, were my cousin and her husband will meet me.
